Experiments with trapped ions and nanoparticles

摘要
This contribution summarizes experimental work which has been performed predominantly in our laboratory using ion guides and specific traps for studying ions, molecules and dust particles under astrophysical conditions. After a short reminder of the basics of the technique and a brief discussion of our newest device, the nanoparticle trap, we shall review experimental results for low temperature gas phase collisions with H-2. In the last part we will summarize our present activities related to chemistry involving cold H atoms.
