Pain education for patients and the public is an essential element of improved pain management. This article reports on the implementation of a national training project, Cancer Pain Education for Patients and the Public (CPEPP). The CPEPPcurriculum was designed to address the multiple opportunities for pain education and to provide resources and support for successful implementation.
