Conventional switched-capacitor converter circuits have a high current stress because of the short circuit when charging and discharging the capacitors, A novel switched-capicitor quasi-resonant step-down converter family with a generalised analysis that can improve the current stress problem is presented. Measured efficiency is high and all the circuits can operate under zero-current switching.
