Navel NO2-sensing properties of sol-gel-derived SnO2-(Y2O3) thin films

摘要
Y2O3-SnO2 thin films were prepared by the sol-gel method using non-alkoxide as precursors. The films present a good sensitivity, high selectivity and very quick response behavior at room temperature and optimum sensing properties at 335K toward low concentrations of NO2. The gas sensitivity of SnO2 thin film toward NO2 is greatly enhanced and the sensing temperature zone is moved to a relatively low-temperature area by the Y2O3 dopant.
