摘要
In the present paper, an analytic investigation of a two-stage adsorption refrigeration chiller using re-heat is performed to determine the influence of the overall thermal conductance of sorption elements and evaporator as well as the adsorbent mass on the chiller performance. The innovative chiller is driven by waste heat temperatures between 50 and 70 degrees C with a cooling source at 30 degrees C for air-conditioning purposes. The present analysis shows that the cycle performance is strongly influenced by the overall thermal conductance of sorption elements due to the sensible heating and cooling requirements resulting from batched cycle operation. The model is somewhat sensitive to the overall thermal conductance of the evaporator. (c) 2005 Elsevier SAS. All rights reserved.
