Stable delivery of a canavalin promoter-beta-glucuronidase gene fusion into French bean by particle bombardment

摘要
Shoot apices of French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L. cv. Goldstar) seeds were bombarded with gold particles coated with plasmid pSAG-734 carrying a chimeric gene that encodes beta-glucuronidase under the control of the canavalin gene promoter. The organ- and maturation stage-specific expression of the construct was observed histochemically in seeds of transgenic plants.
