Comparative study of isothermal grain growth of CdS and CdTe in the presence of halide fluxes

摘要
The recrystallization of CdS and CdTe powders in different molten salts (CdCl(2) CdCl(2)-Te, Te) was studied with the aim of understanding the processes that occur during the recrystallization of CdS and CdTe polycrystalline thin films and layers. It was shown that the recrystallization processes of CdS and CdTe powders and thin films are similar, but that it is complicated to achieve a high p-conductivity state in CdTe monograin materials. The possible mechanisms of recrystallization are discussed.
