摘要
In this letter, we demonstrate a feed-forward technique, which characterizes first-order polarization-mode dispersion (PMD) and aligns it to a compensator. With appropriate components, the system could perform real-time compensation of first-order PMD with rapidly varying principal states of polarizations.
