摘要
This work presents an investigation by mechanical alloying of the Fe-W binary system. The Fe-W system exhibits positive heats of mixing in the solid solutions. Metastable or non-equilibrium phase formation and transformation during milling were studied. Amorphous and supersaturated solid solution phases were obtained in some composition ranges. The thermodynamic analysis of this system was carried out by the calculation of phase diagram (CALPHAD) method.
