Analysis of the equations-of-state of water in the metastable region at high pressures

摘要
The equations-of-state of water were analyzed in the metastable region at high pressure. The supercooled water exist in a metastable state inside the region of stability of solid-ice phases and extends to temperature and pressure of 181.15 K and 2 kbar respectively. It was found that the Saul and Wagner equations-of-state (SW EOS) is better for studying the phase-change problems that involved supercooled water both in the low-pressure and in the high-pressure regions.
