摘要
We emphasise the role of Fe-57 Mossbauer spectrometry in investigating surfaces, interfaces, or grain boundaries which strongly affect the physical properties in ultrafine particles, ultrathin films and nanocrystalline alloys, and nanostructured materials, respectively. Indeed, it is an excellent tool to investigate both structural and magnetic properties at iron sites located at interfaces or surfaces of those materials, thanks to its atomic scale and dynamic phenomena sensitivities.
