A simple and effective method for filtering speckle-interferometric phase fringe patterns

摘要
We have shown that a simple process such as multiple repetition of an anisotropic sine/cosine average filter produces the effect of an excellent automatic adaptive filter for filtering speckle-interferometric phase fringe patterns. On an exemplary shearographic measurement we have shown that this method clearly outperforms the best currently available filter algorithms, like the scale-space filter and the partially recursive filter.
