摘要
A monochromator with varied line space plane gratings in convergent light by a spherical mirror has been designed for a soft X-ray undulator beamline (BL27) of SPring-8. A new method for optimization of the varied line space grating will be proposed. The resolving power and the photon flux are estimated by a ray tracing calculation. On the basis of these results, the optical design of the monochromator is given. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
