Infrared observations of the B-3 and Al-3 molecules in inert-gas matrices at 4 K

摘要
Ground-state vibrational frequencies of the matrix-isolated Bg and Al-3 molecules have been observed. For Al-3, there also appears a progression of bands beginning at approximate to 1800 cm(-1), which is attributed to absorption to a low-lying electronic state.
