(Figure Presented) Good cholesterol: Oligo(p-phenylenevinylene)s (OPVs) that are mono- or di-substituted with cholesterol moieties form pseudo-J and pseudo-H aggregates, respectively (see picture), which lead to coiled and twisted helical structures with distinct optical, chiroptical, and morphological properties. © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
