摘要
Alkali-lime-alumosilicate glass melts (16R(2)O, 10CaO, xAl(2)O(3) and (74 - x)SiO2) with R = Li, Na and K and alumina contents of up to 15 mol%. doped with 0.2 mol%, Fe2O3 were studied using square-wave voltammetry. increasing alumina content leads to an increase in the standard potential of the Fe3+/Fe2+-redox pair. The standard potentials measured increase from Li2O to K2O. They were compared with data reported in the literature. An empirical correlation is given which enables a calculation of the standard potentials from the chemical composition. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
