摘要
This paper presents a two-step procedure to generate a selection of alternative water reuse networks handling single contaminants and having the same raw water consumption and wastewater generation. In the first step, a special Evolutionary Table is used to set raw water and wastewater targets without resorting to graphical solutions. It is also used to identify a point, herein called the 'Global Pinch Point', which separates the design problem into two independent parts. In the second step, some special guidelines on mixing strategies for water sources above and below the Global Pinch Point are applied in order to design multiple water reuse networks for the same targets.
