摘要：

New targeted drugs for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) are discussed in this item. Scientists have directed their efforts into finding drugs to treat imatinib-resistant CML. The protein that results from a genetic abnormality in CML patients is being considered as a therapeutic target.
