摘要
Polypropylene was studied as a matrix material. The materials used were unfilled polypropylene, synthetic hydroxyapatite and HAPEX. The HA/PP composite was extruded to a range of extrusion ratios at a range of temperatures. The HAPEX was extruded to an extrusion ratio of 8:1 at a temperature of 115°C. The materials were tested in 3 point bending. Extruded material was tested in cylindrical rod form; isotropic material in rectangular bar form. Finally, the resulting data was analyzed in detail.
