摘要
SrBi(5)FeTi(4)O(18) belongs to the family of bismuth layer structured ferroelectrics. The samples studied were prepared by the double sintering method. The impedance and dielectric measurements were performed in the temperature range from room temperature to 600 degrees C. From the impedance data, AC conductivity was computed both as a function of frequency, as well as temperature. Complex impedance diagrams are nearly semicircles in the high temperature and high frequency range. The impedance data below 500 degrees C indicated Debye type relaxations. The poled sample indicated a Curie temperature of 580 degrees C. The sample under consideration was found to be a weakly ferromagnetic material at room temperature with a coercive field of 7.08 X 10(2) G as evidenced by the B-H loop.
