Unrepeatered transmission over 150km of nonzero-dispersion fibre at 100Gbit/s with semiconductor based pulse source, demultiplexer and clock recovery

摘要
Unrepeatered transmission over a record length of 150km of nonzero-dispersion fibre at 100Gbit/s is reported. These results were achieved using decorrelated optical multiplexing of five 20Gbit/s signals. The transmitter pulse source, the optical demultiplexer and the clock recovery are based on electroabsorption modulators.
