摘要
We study the stabilization of a large negative scattering length Bose-Einstein condensate by using a multisoliton fringe system, Each fringe behaves like a quasiparticle and the whole cloud forms a stable system when the trapping in one or two directions is switched off. The resulting system can be used as a coherent source of atomic solitons. A discussion on how to generate the soliton fringe system experimentally is made. [S1050-2947(99)10208-7].
