摘要
A new method is presented to determine the optimum number and location of monitoring stations in an air pollution network. The selection of the monitoring stations is based on the spatial representativity of the sites. In particular, the spatial coefficient of the correlation between the pollutant concentrations in different receptors is considered with regard to different meteorological scenarios. The methodology is applied in the province of Venice for two different pollutants: SO2 and NOX. Copyright (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
