摘要
Using empirical equations of state for carbon dioxide and argon, we show that density fluctuations in supercritical fluids reach a maximum at a particular density rho(max)(T). As the temperature increases beyond the critical temperature, T-c, rho(max)(T) deviates increasingly from the critical density, rho(c). This contradicts recent suggestions by Nishikawa et al. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
