摘要
Near IR excited FT-Raman spectroscopy was used to study the solution polymerization of norbornene using a well-defined single-site heterogeneous olefin metathesis catalyst. During the ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) of NBE, three different phases occur. The first phase is assigned to diffusion into the MCM-41 channels. The second phase is the propagation phase of polymerization reaction, and the final phase occurred due to the increasing viscosity of the system.
