The anomaly and topology in quenched QCD above Tc

摘要
The quenched chiral condensate is expected to diverge because of the presence of topologically induced zero modes in the spectrum of the Dirac operator. We explain why this effect has not been observed in simulations using the staggered formalism, and show that the domain wall formalism is better suited to the problem. We present a preliminary finding of divergent behavior in quenched domain wall thermodynamics above T-c,.
