The wonderful development of internet as a boon to democracy is discussed. The rise of specialized sites and blogs has increased the opportunity for people to read and write on an extraordinary array of topics. As a result of internet and other technological developments many people are increasingly engaged in the process of personalization, limiting their exposure to topics and points of views of their own choosing. It is observed that these developments have made life much more convenient and have reduced the exposure to uninvited noise.
