摘要
The importance of enterprise architecture (EA), and its importance as a management tool and organizational blue print, is discussed. Architecture at the level of an entire organization is referred to as enterprise architecture (EA). It is a coherent whole of principles, methods and models that are used in the design and realization of the enterprise's organizational structure, business processes, information systems, and infrastructure. EA is an aid in guarding the essentials of the business, while still allowing for maximal flexibility and adaptability. EA provides the blueprint for systematically defining an organization's current or future environment, coupled with a process for development and maintenance, and as a key planning discipline it helps guide and optimize an organization's IT investments and translate business strategies into implementable technology solutions.
