Improvement in cold-induced Raynaud's syndrome with administration of ticlopidine hydrochloride detected by Tc-99m DTPA human serum albumin scintigraphy

摘要
A 65-year-old woman with arteriosclerosis obliterans had Raynaud's syndrome of the left foot. After administration of ticlopidine hydrochloride, the symptoms disappeared. Tc-99m DTPA human serum albumin (HSA) scintigraphy was performed before and 8 months after the administration of ticlopidine hydrochloride. The former examination revealed a cold-induced decrease of blood flow, whereas the later examination showed improved blood flow after a cold-loading test in the left foot. Tc-99m HAS DTPA scintigraphy is a useful tool to evaluate and follow Raynaud's syndrome.
