摘要
Meat samples from Charolais steers bred at different geographical sites in France and fed on either maize silage, indoors, or grass were analyzed using O-18 IRMS and H-1, H-2 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy. Some parameters showed significant differences according to the production site or feeding. A discriminant factorial analysis allowed the selection of four parameters to identify the production site and diet of the animals. All grazing steers were well classified, as were 94% of the steers fed on maize ensilage. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
