10Gbit/s transmission over 90-127 km in the wavelength range 1530-1560nm using an InP-based Mach-Zehnder modulator

摘要
In InP-based Mach-Zehnder modulator has been realised, and transmission over a standard fibre at 10Gbit/s over 90-127km has been successfully demonstrated in a single-arm configuration scheme, in the wavelength range 1530-1560nm. The sole bias voltage has been adjusted to take into account the wavelength dependence of the electro-optic efficiency of the phase modulator material.
