摘要
A very high spatial resolution distributed optical fibre temperature sensor system is demonstrated using Raman scattering and time-correlated single photon counting. The spatial resolution of the system is 3.5 cm. A temperature resolution of 2 degrees C has been achieved with 1 minute measurement time when averaging the data points over 10 cm, The system shows the feasibility of the time-correlated single photon counting technique for distributed sensing measurements, offering a practical solution for applications where very high spatial resolution is needed.
