摘要
Transparent superhydrophobic surfaces were prepared by self-assembly of hydrophobic n-octadecyltrimethoxysilane (H3C(CH2)(17)Si(OCH3)(3), ODS) and (3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)trimethoxysilane (F3C(CH2)(2)Si(OCH3)(3), FAS3) monolayers from gas phase on transparent nanoporous alumina surfaces. Water contact angles on the silylated transparent porous alumina surfaces showed a strong dependence on the dimensions of the underlying porous structure. The highest contact angle (153 degrees) was measured on an ODS monolayer on a porous alumina surface that had a pore diameter of about 50 nm. The superhydrophobic surfaces prepared in this work are transparent and stable which widens the range of their potential applications. (c) 2006 WILEY-VCH Veriag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
