摘要
For patients with advanced Parkinson's disease who do not respond to levodopa anymore, neurosurgical intervention is the only option. Cell transplantation has not met expectations as yet. Deep brain stimulation is gaining round and currently seems to be the most efficient, flexible, and safe procedure. (C) 2001 by Elsevier Science Inc.
