Mechanical and dielectric properties of BaTiO3/Ag composites

摘要
Silver inclusions were added to BaTiO3 to explore the influence of the conducting metallic phase on the mechanical and dielectric properties. Addition of small amount of Ag enhanced the strength and toughness of the BaTiO3. However, addition of a higher Ag content decreased the strength and toughness because the density is low. The relative permittivity of BaTiO3 also decreased for the low-density composites.
