摘要
(Figure Presented) Wood you believe it! Solid acids act as powerful catalysts for the hydrolysis of cellulose dissolved in an ionic liquid. Cellulose undergoes selective depolymerization, yielding cellulose oligomers (cellooligomers) without any substantial formation of side products. Even wood, a lignocellulosic material, is hydrolyzed using this methodology. © 2008 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
