摘要
In the last decade, much effort has been directed in the development of nonlinear brain dynamics and with the oscillatory processes of neural assemblies. During this period, it has been realized that there is a need for a new integrative neurophysiology and a new 'brain theory' is needed to confront the problems recognized in this decade of the brain. A brief outline is given on how the findings in the last twenty years of research have led to such a development.
