Pulse pileup correction of large NaI(Tl) total absorption spectra using the true pulse shape

摘要：
The usefulness of a simple numerical correction method of electronic pulse pileup distortion in measured energy spectra is investigated. The algorithm only requires the knowledge of the true pulse shape. The accuracy of the correction achieved for total absorption gamma-ray spectroscopy measurements with NaI(Tl) detectors is demonstrated. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
