摘要：

Although many studies regarding the effect of pregnancy on systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) activity are still controversial, it is clear that SLE and pregnancy do influence each other. Our understanding of the complex relationship between SLE and pregnancy continues to grow with the advent of combined obstetric-medical clinics and study of risk factors. In this article, the recent literature is reviewed as well as the authors' own experience concerning the incidence, severity, diagnosis, and management of SLE flares during pregnancy.
