摘要
We used intravascular ultrasound to quantify the overall plaque burden in patients with de novo focal stenoses. There was significantly more plaque (p <0.0001) in nonstenotic segments, ranging from 46% to 86% (72 +/- 12%) of the total plaque volume, which correlated with a volumetric measure of calcium.
