摘要：

Estimates of the urban heat island are presented based upon ground level air temperature measurement in a few representative points in Bucharest (May-December 1994). The intensity of the effect is analysed versus synoptic mesoscale patterns. Other effects of the urban area on some atmospheric parameters, particularly on cloud systems and precipitation, are presented, too, using radar images. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
