A new possibility for powder diffraction: The characterization of the domain microstructure in ferroelectric material

摘要
A new way of investigation with classical powder diffraction technics is proposed : using as an example, the case of the famous ferroelectric material, barium titanate BaTiO3 it is shown how relevant informations related to the ferroelectric microstructure of such a material and its evolution can be obtained. The study of the ferroelectric effects in the whole diagram would allow the use of powder diffraction as a tool for the ferroelectric microstructure characterization.
