摘要
It is difficult to quantify the ecological impacts of human activities. There are often many different indicators that can conflict with each other, frequently important observations are lacking, and potentially valuable information may be non-quantitative in nature. Fuzzy set theory offers a methodology for dealing with these problems and provides a useful approach to difficult classification problems. This paper describes how fuzzy logic can be applied to analysis of ecological impacts. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
