Collective and single-particle dynamics in liquid ortho-deuterium:: A quantum mode-coupling approach

摘要
A theory for dynamical correlations in quantum liquids recently developed by Rabani and Reichman ( J. Chem. Phys., 116 ( 2002) 6271) is applied to study collective and single-particle dynamics in liquid deuterium. The results obtained from the theory are compared with recent experimental results with excellent agreement for density fluctuations. Prediction for an isotope effect under identical thermodynamic conditions are made for various dynamical correlations.
