摘要
Monitoring of soil-vegetation conditions has been carried out applying optical data from NOAA/AVHRR and ERS/ATSR and microwave data from ERS, JERS and RADARSAT. Different soil moisture indices have been calculated based on evapotranspiration derived from surface temperature obtained from ATSR and meteorological data. NOAA data have been used to derive information for whole of Poland. The Temperature Condition Index (TCI) characterizing the status of crop development has been obtained from Global Area Coverage (GAC) data. The TCI index represented the relation between actual weekly value of surface temperature and the temperature occurred for potential and stress crop conditions. (C) 2002 COSPAR.
