摘要
We present results from optical narrowband (lambda(c) = 8150 angstrom and Delta lambda 120 angstrom) observations of the Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey (GOODS) fields, using Suprime-Cam on the Subaru Telescope. Using these narrowband data, we then perform a survey of Ly alpha emitters (LAEs) at z similar to 5.7. The LAE survey covers an area of approximate to 320 arcmin(2) and a comoving volume of similar or equal to 8.0 x 10(4) Mpc(3). We found a total of 10 (GOODS-N) and 4 (GOODS-S) LAE candidates at z similar to 5.7. We perform a study of the spatial distribution, space density, and star formation properties of the LAEs at z similar to 5.7.
