摘要
A new methodology on how to plot fringes in oblique incidence of a slice from a 3D model is proposed. The importance of the slicing plan and the influence on the choice of the viewing direction is illustrated by solving the problem of a crane hook. It is emphasized that the methodology can go a long way in minimizing the number of experinments and a better slicing plan for effective analysis.
