摘要
A Cr80Fe20 alloy was elaborated by mechanical alloying, in a planetary mill, from powder mixture of elemental Fe and Cr. Mossbauer spectrometry was performed to follow the formation of the alloy which is paramagnetic at 300 K. The weight of the magnetic contribution due to the uncompletely alloyed alpha-Fe, decreases linearly with the milling time. Powder particle microstructure was studied by TEM. The micrometer particles consist of nanocrystalline grains of about 5-15 nm. After 12 h of milling, the Cr80Fe20 alloy seems to be highly disordered than after 3 h. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science. B.V.
