Relationship between optical transmittance and microstructure of nanostructured alumina films

摘要
Nanostructured boehmite and Al2O3 films were prepared by the sol-gel route. Microstructural features, such as phase content, grain orientation and grain diameter, were observed. The relationship between the transmittance in the visible to near infrared range and the film microstructure is discussed.
