摘要
Qubits are the basic elements for quantum computers. By developing state-of-the-art qubits, the performance of quantum computers can be significantly improved. In view of this, a new type of qubit has been designed that consists of a closed loop with three Josephson junctions, without connecting leads. The qubit can be operated by modulation of the tunneling barrier.
